ABOUT US

The goal of the Miss Phenix City Pageant is to provide scholarships for deserving young women while promoting the personal growth of each contestant.  The Miss Phenix City Pageant Committee gladly gives of their time, efforts, and talents and through the support of the community and area businesses, achieves this goal.  Responsibilities of the committee include:

• Promotion and production of the Miss Phenix City Scholarship pageant each July.
  

• Assisting Miss Phenix City in the preparation for the Miss Alabama Pageant.
  

• Distribution of Scholarship.
  

• Preparing each contestant to be a successful young woman in today’s world by improving upon her self-awareness, composure, and confidence in herself and her abilities.
  

• Working for, promoting, and improving in the City of Phenix City’s growth, involvements, and well-being.
  

As an official preliminary to the Miss Alabama and Miss America pageants, we are proud to be a part of an organization that provides more scholarships to females than any other in the world.  Local, State and National pageants awarded $45,000,000 in cash and scholarships in 2006.
